Backyard Art Sale!
June is here, bringing rising temperatures typical of summer. As a Northeast Ohio resident who cherishes the brief warm weather, I embrace the season entirely. No complaints about the heat, fans, or high electric bills from air conditioners. Instead, I enjoy every moment with cold iced tea in hand, savoring all that summertime offers.
Art Only Boutique started off the month of June with our Backyard Art Sale!. It’s been a while since we did this, like fifteen years ago. When the Lord gave us the idea.
It’s Not Over Yet!
We still have a lot of hot summer days in the forecast left. So, grab some of your art supplies and head outdoors. Right out to your decks, backyards, or front steps. Out in the fresh open air without having turn the key in the car.
I love using these mini sketchbooks to collage, sketch and paint. I usually make a day of it. I’ve challenged myself to finish one these mini sketch books over time. I’m almost there.
This is also a great simple activity for the kids too. They’re not overwhelmed by a big sheet of blank paper. Nothing to pin up on the fridge.
